Yuck!!! I'm glad you are going to get it taken care of! I got bitten by a cat in 07 and it looked fine, cleaned it up, the next day my hand was so swollen I couldn't use it! Ended up having to go to the ER ON THANKSGIVING to get a shot of antibiotics!

Went to the doc for the hand.  I have cellulitis.  He drew a big black circle around it in permanent ink to track the redness.  I have a 10 day course of Augmentin to take and am to watch it.  If it moves past the black circle == ER here I come.  I keep it elevated, warm packs on it and keep an eye on it.  It'll be ok.  I sure am glad I have a kitty again despite the scratches.  It was my own darn fault - should have just let the kitty go and grab the &U$($ dog!  I had 4 kitties when I met Joe and the last one died last year.  I was having kitty withdrawl.  I spend 10 minutes in the morning and 10 - 20 each night sitting on the porch loving on a kitty.  Makes me smile!  She's so tiny (6 pounds) and purrs so LOUD.

Thanks for the concern and words of wisdom. 

BTW - dad's home and doing great.

Morning all,

Well I have been up for awhile, but had an awful sleep inspite of the sleep aids I take.  There was just too much pain last night, my shoulder, my back, my knees, geesh, I need new joints, and no that anything that you can smoke!  Oh why not hurt, my birthday is soon and OH MY, it will be my 60th!  How in the hell did that happen??  I thought I just turned 38!   Anyway, I am taking the day off from cleaning and Wii today.  The only think I will do is take Vicki for our little walk.  She was so cute on her second one yesterday, she was almost prancing with her head high.  She is a little cutie pie, as with most ****ers, they have that sweet little face.  By far she is one of the smarter ****ers that I have had.  She is my 4th.  She is only 4 years old, her birthday is Christmas Day and she has been a blessing to me, but mostly my dad.  When my mom died, Vicki must have sensed his grief.  She sleeps with him and follows him everywhere.  I let him feed her too, that way she bonded with him. 

Ok, I am off to change clothes, brush my teeth and hair take a little walk and then rest today.  I think that 100 games of bowling is ALOT to do.  Plus two walks, no wonder my body is screaming at me.

Everyone have a great day.  Hoping Dougie asks me to be his Valentine, but then he better, cuz there isn't anyone else!

I have been enjoying my vacation here in beautiful Monterey and I can't wait to move up here. Unfortunately, Lil man and I have been sick but it hasn't slowed up down, just sucks.  We leave tomorrow and I am already sad. Just wanted to check in and say hello.

Good morning Jeni and California!

LOL @ Nasty squats.  That's just how I feel as my knees pop with each one!  Jeremy shoed me to hang onto a pole and squat way back, it's a little easier but it does get into the muscles.  Then I do some with weights.  I use the arm rest on my treadmill to hang on as I squat without weights.

It's been a busy day of trying to find Kangoo Jumps somewhere that I can try them on and not buy sight unseen.  I finally found a place in Capitola, a meer 4 hour drive.  But that's less than an hour from Jenn.  So we'll see how she feels next week and may pop in on her to say hi and have a protein shake. ;-)

Wow............sorry I haven't popped in today till night time

I started having stomach cramps last night and woke up feeling terrible this morning.  I've spent all day in bed and I'm doing better now.

I need to get more water in, I've gotten lax on that and it's taking it's toll I think.  So I'll do better.  So funny, I was talking to my mom about it and SHE told ME to get out my little timer and set it so I keep sipping.     Gotta love it.
